Summary: Shadow Falls Camp is back in session with the most explosive installment yet.  A shocking new threat will rock Shadow Falls—changing it forever and altering Kylie’s journey in ways she never imagined.

Even at a camp for supernatural teens, Kylie Galen has never been normal. Not only can she see ghosts, but she doesn’t seem to belong to any one species—she exhibits traits from them all. As Kylie struggles to unlock the secrets of her identity, she begins to worry that Lucas will never be able to accept her for what she is, and what she isn’t…a werewolf.  With his pack standing in their way, Kylie finds herself turning more and more to Derek, the only person in her life who’s willing to accept the impossible.

As if life isn’t hard enough, she starts getting visits from the ghost of Holiday, her closest confidante.  Trouble is, Holiday isn’t dead…not yet anyway.  Now Kylie must race to save one of her own from an unseen danger before it’s too late—all while trying to stop her relationship with Lucas from slipping away forever.   In a world of constant confusion, there’s only one thing Kylie knows for sure.  Change is inevitable and all things must come to an end…maybe even her time at Shadow Falls.

The breathtaking fourth installment of the New York Times bestselling Shadow Falls series from author C. C. Hunter...Whispers at Moonrise.

Review: I absolutely LOVE this series, so when the newest one popped up in my mailbox, I was over the moon excited to get into it. And I am happy to say I'm even more in love with this series now than I was before (if that's even possible).

Kylie is one step closer to figuring out just exactly what she is after her birth father (in ghost form) reveals that she's a chameleon, but the problem is no one has ever heard of that before. Whichever supernatural form she emits is what people seem to think she is, even though it's never been normal to be able to switch patterns. On top of that, Kylie has to deal with the reality that the newest ghost stalking her looks exactly like Holiday, which makes no sense seeing that Holiday isn't dead. Could it be a ghost from the future? Or one who has mistaken her identity? Oh, and not to mention Lucas is hiding things from her and Derek just admitted he loves her. How can one girl handle so much?

Kylie's crazy life, though, is what makes this book so amazing. There are so many things she has to deal with and none of them seem like the petty, little things that other YA paranormal books deal with. Kylie has serious problems that just seem to grow more and more complicated. And yes, there is a love triangle, but CC Hunter makes it work by making both guys absolutely irresistible and not at all annoying like some other love triangles I know.

I loved every single thing about this book and we're left with yet another cliff hanger. I just got this book and now I have to wait until SPRING to figure out what happens next. Seriously??? Spring??? I want to know what happens right now! I don't ever want to leave Shadow Falls because the people there are just so lovable. From Miranda and Della to Burnett and Holiday, I have fallen in love with each and every character of this series. If you haven't started this series yet, start it right now! You're missing out on an amazing paranormal world full of lovable and even more amazing characters.
